This is the 1st year that the Bestwick Foundation has registered and is eligible for Centre Gives. We are very excited and will run an aggressive promotion to raise as much revenues as possible during this fantastic and generous fundraising campaign … and ensure that 100% of those monies will stay in the Centre Region. After all, the Bestwick Foundation’s mission is in line with that of the Centre Foundation – We both strive to improve the lifestyle of our fellow citizens. We both look to support those in need. Our motto is “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” and this compliments that of the Centre Foundation who believes that an engaged community builds powerful relationships among people and organizations committed to changing our world.

The Bestwick Foundation, a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has held a number of charitable events since it’s incorporation on July 14th, 2011, and has subsequently provided over $132,000 in financial support to numerous families, individuals, and local organizations in the Centre Region. Established by Jamie Bestwick (President), Steve Greer (Secretary), and Dan Rallis (Treasurer), the purpose for which the Foundation is organized is to primarily provide financial assistance to those dealing with cancer and other health-related or unforeseen financial hardships. The corporation is organized to operate exclusively at all times for the benefit of, to perform the functions of, or to carry out the purposes of the Bestwick Foundation. One of the main goals of the Bestwick Foundation is to keep all monies raised local and to focus on helping our neighbors. Additionally, the Foundation also evaluates and provides discretionary support for needy schools and other programs in the community, especially in support of youth and health development.
